Basketball Camp
Positive Image Sports will host a basketball camp for boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 16. This event will take place
on at the Barnes Field House on Fort Huachuca on Saturday, June 28th, 2014 from 0900 to 1500. The NBA and WNBA players below will
be present to assist in the camp.

Corey Gaines was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 3rd round
(65th overall) of the 1988 NBA Draft. A 6'3" guard from UCLA and Loyola Marymount University, Gaines played in 5 NBA seasons for
4 different teams. He played for the New Jersey Nets (1988-89), Philadelphia 76ers (1989-90, 1994-95), Denver Nuggets (1990-91) and
New York Knicks (1993-94). In his NBA career, he played in 80 games and scored a total of 248 points. Gaines also played in a Japanese
men's basketball league in the early 2000s.
Adrian Williams-Strong was the Phoenix Mercury's first pick in
the second round (21st overall) of the 2000 WNBA Draft. She pulled down a Mercury franchise record of 184 defensive rebounds during one
season, and ranked sixth in the league in steals and ninth in rebounding. In 2003, she was named to the WNBA All-Star Team where she
recorded nine points, six rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes of action. Williams-Strong was acquired by the San Antonio Silver Stars
in 2004, signed by the Minnesota Lynx in 2006, and later acquired by the Sacramento Monarchs in 2007, where she played until her retirement
in 2009.
